In this show we spotlight Algis Budrys. A writer who wrote classics like Who and Michaelmas. He is the author of ten novels, three short story collections, and five non-fiction works and wrote and published approximately 200 short stories. He taught at Columbia Harvard, the Taos experimental Writers of the Future workshop, and the Library of Congress, to name a few, as well as several annual workshops in Moscow, Idaho. He was the editor and publisher of Tomorrow Speculative Fiction magazine. Algis Budrys became an SF reader at the age of six, with Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, and Brick Bradford.

With our 4th show we spotlight on the Science Fiction writer Paul M A Linebarger. A man better known in the science fiction field as Cordwainer Smith. He was one of the true visionaries of science fiction. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin July 11, 1913. In the early part of his life he lost one eye in accident and the other eye becoming infected resulting in impaired vision throughout his life. Smith's writings consist of only one science fiction novel, Norstrilla and over 30 short SF stories.
