Ben Spillers lives in Pueblo, Colorado with his girlfriend and two dogs. A refugee from a career as a software engineer in the greater NYC area, he briefly reinvented himself as an artisanal bread baker in Vermont before regaining his sanity and relocating to Colorado. His work has appeared in Deep Magic, Aurealis, Kzine, and The Martian Wave. When he isn’t writing speculative fiction or renovating his ancient house, he can be seen being walked by his dogs, Butters and Dizzy.
